The Tabitha sewing group of Second Baptist Church in Griffin, Ga, has committed to a project for the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home (GBCH) on Hwy 19 S in Zebulon. Our Tabitha group has committed to making quilts for the families to use at the home which gives them something lasting for them when they leave.  

 

There are many beds that will need to be covered.  We have also been given the opportunity to partner with the Christian Women’s Center in Griffin, GA, to allow them to use existing sewing skills or learn to sew to help us make the quilts needed at the GBCH.

 

We work on a donation basis.  Our biggest need moving forward is a longarm quilting machine for the actual finishing of the quilts.  This will benefit three non-profit organizations.  It also would be a tax-deductible gift that would positively impact the lives of the people benefitting from the programs.  To make a donation please click the button below.
